Terms & Agreements

Welcome to RipOne ("the App", "our", "we", "us"). By accessing or using RipOne, you agree to these Terms & Agreements. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RipOne. If you are under the minimum age required in your country, you may only use the App with parental consent or legal guardian approval.

2. Minors & Age-Appropriate Use ("Minors Personal Consent")

RipOne may be used by users aged 13 and older, subject to local laws. If you are under the age of majority in your country:

• You confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.
• Your parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us to:

• Request access to, correction or, deletion of a minor's personal data
• Request account termination

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the legally permitted age without appropriate consent. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

3. Accounts & Third-Party Login

RipOne allows you to sign in using third-party services such as Google or Apple.

• We do not control these services and are not responsible for their practices.
• Your use of third-party login providers is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
• We may receive basic profile information (such as your name, email address, and profile picture) to create and personalize your account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding credentials for third-party accounts.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. User Content

RipOne allows you to create and upload audio and other content ("User Content").

By using the App, you confirm that:

• You own or have permission to use all content you upload.
• Your content does not violate any laws or the rights of others.
• Your content does not include hateful, obscene, defamatory, sexually explicit, or illegal material.

By submitting User Content, you grant RipOne a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use your content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the App.

You remain the owner of your content.

5. User Audio Content - Audio Recording & User Responsibility

By submitting User Audio Content, you confirm that:

• The audio is created by you or with permission of all individuals involved
• You have the legal right to record and upload the audio
• The recording does not violate any laws, including local consent-to-record laws
• You consent to us storing, displaying, and using your audio content (such as voice, lyrics, spoken content, or illegal material)

Users are solely responsible for their User Audio Content.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, bully, threaten, or harm other users
• Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or violates intellectual property rights
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App's security
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate voting, leaderboards, or other features
• Spam or send unsolicited messages to other users
• Impersonate another person or entity

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. RipCoins & Virtual Currency

RipCoins are a virtual currency used within the App to create challenges and participate in certain features.

• RipCoins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
• You may earn RipCoins through in-app activities (e.g., voting, leaderboard rankings)
• RipCoins are non-transferable and cannot be sold or traded
• We reserve the right to modify the RipCoin system at any time
• If your account is terminated, you forfeit all RipCoins

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of RipOne (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design) are owned by RipOne or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the App or other users.

You may delete your account at any time through the App or by visiting our account deletion page.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately, and we may delete your User Content.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

RipOne is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Guarantees that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Accuracy or reliability of content provided by users

You use the App at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RipOne and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, profits, or revenue
• Damage to your device or data
• Harm resulting from user-generated content
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the past 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RipOne and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of RipOne shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
